Officers

IEEE isn't just for engineers. Chris is a psych major planning on going to law school and focusing on intellectual property and labor law. Outside of IEEE, Chris is involved with the PreLaw Fraternity Phi Alpha Delta. For fun he writes, plays pool, and watches movies.

Jason is a 3rd year Transfer Student, currently pursuing a major in Electrical Engineering at UCSD. He has been involved with computers since the “Comedore 64k”, and continuously trying to expand his knowledge base in the Electronics Industry. Outside of School he is Involved in Scuba Diving, Kite surfing, Snowboarding, and Rock climbing. He is continuously looking for ways to strengthen the IEEE Social Community and always welcomes other ideas.

Jeffrey Chi is a 3rd year UCSD student currently pursuing a major in Electrical Engineering and minor in Communications. Aside from serving as the VP Internal for IEEE, he is also involved with the Triton Engineering Student Council, serving as the IEEE TESC rep and also a TESC Outreach Committee member.

Jennifer is a 2nd year Transfer student from Ventura County, CA currently pursuing a BS in Electrical Engineering. She became a committee member for IEEE by volunteering for the DECaF event last year, and worked her way up to committee leader. She is now interning at a semi-conductor company in San Diego called Conexant Systems, Inc. In the little free time that she has, she enjoys shooting pool, playing poker, reading, playing tennis and watching football.

Jordan Rhee is a second year electrical engineering major at UCSD. Although he is an electrical engineer by name, he is very interested in computer science and continues to take CS classes in addition to his EE classes. He joined IEEE UCSD as an assistant webmaster in the third week of his freshman year and looks forward to being president in 08/09. Jordan's latest project is at the Electronic Visualization Lab in Calit2 where he is working on hotspot reduction with GLSL pixel shaders.

When he's not programming, Jordan enjoys swimming at Cayonview Pool, hiking and biking in the Eastern Sierra, reading the newspaper, and playing jazz piano.

Linda is a fourth year mechanical engineering major. She is also involved with Phi Sigma Rho, a national science and engineering sorority, serving as VP External and is one of the original founders of the UCSD chapter. Outside of academics she enjoys photography, sketching, and just having fun. There's no shame in being a kid at heart :)

Minji is a first year UCSD student pursuing a major in Electrical Engineering and a minor in Chinese Studies. Besides academics, she spends her time playing the violin, oil painting, and doing 3D puzzles.

Sean Chan is a 2nd year UCSD student currently pursuing a major in Computer Engineering. His many interests other than programming include photography, swimming, and surfing (or at least trying to). He currently holds an internship at Teradata, a company that that deals with the logical storage of data and tools for data analysis.

Victoria Wong is a second-year student at UCSD pursuing a B.S. in Electrical Engineering. She is currently working in the Information Technology Department of the UCSD (Geisel) library. Aside from her studies, she enjoys cooking, the Bay Area, Disneyland, and time with friends and family. As Social Chair, she is very open to ideas for IEEE events.
