Our student branch currently offers five awesome projects:
- Robomagellan (annual national competition)
- Natcar (annual national competition)
- Smart Parking (Gilman Parking Structure)
- AUVSI (partnered with AIAA)
- Micromouse *NEW* Candidates Needed (IEEE inter-student branch competition)
Gain hands-on experience working with both hardware and software meeting only once a week. Check out the individual project websites for detailed descriptions.
Come out to our events
From quarterly speaker series to basketball tournaments to bonfires and barbeques to the JUNKYARD DERBY (see our winning Batmobile!), we try to put up a couple of social events each quarter so our members will have an opportunity to network and meet people with similar interests. Participate in our community service opportunities
What better way to blend into the San Diego Community than to get involved with an outreach program? Computers to San Diego Kids, Inc. is a non-profit organization created with the goal of assisting qualified children and their families to obtain computers and related products in order to help them with their education. If you are interested in a long-term commitment or have any other questions, please email Philip Huang.

Join a committee
Participating in a committee is a great way to be active in an organization. We have 3 awesome committees and are always looking for new members.
- Technical - responsible for website and technical events.
- Business - recruit companies for events and build partnerships with industry.
- Operations - plan, organize, publicize, and execute events.
