Tritons win 4th out of 130 in IEEE Xtreme Programming!

Results were just released for the 2008 Xtreme 24-hour Programming Contest. With a total of 903.75 points, UCSD team Bagpipe Lubricators won 4th place out of 130 teams!! The members of team Bagpipe Lubricators were:
- Jordan Rhee - second year Electrical Engineering
- Eric Levine - second year Computer Science
- Rene Claus - second year Electrical Engineering
There were 130 teams from 31 countries who participated this year, the second edition. The IEEE web site is updated with the top ten teams and the names of the team members at http://www.ieee.org/xtreme. The top ten teams are:

It should be noted that UC Berkeley did not even place this year. In fact, UCSD was the only UC in the top 10. Way to go, tritons! Next year we plan on dominating even harder.
