San Diego Science Festival
Back to all photo albumsThe first annual, month-long San Diego Science Festival (http://sdsciencefestival.com) ended with Expo Day on Saturday, April 4th. IEEE UCSD and 200 other organizations hosted over 300 different hands-on activities. Our exhibit, entitled "Danger, Will Robinson!" taught people of all ages about robots - how they work, what they are used for, and how they affect our lives. At our booth, kids built boxing robots and solar-powered race cars, and were able to play with them throughout the day. We also had a circuit building activity where kids could build basic circuits on breadboards to light up LEDs, play music, and witness electricity flowing through their own bodies!
