The competition will take place in August 2017 in Atlanta, Georgia. While traveling with the team is not required, it is highly encouraged.
Annual project applications have closed. Please check in next year in Fall Quarter for our next round of projects.
Every year, IEEE [at] UCSD sponsors one IARC Quadcopter travel team that goes through the process of designing, fabricating, testing and competing with their autonomous quadcopter. Along the way, participants will learn collaboration and research skills that come with team-based projects while being able to apply their academic knowledge in a competitive environment. For this project, the team will also be required to provide a research paper that encompasses their work throughout the project in a professional manner, which will be published and presented at the competition. At the end of the project, the team has access to their team website and live demos of their robot, allowing them to show off their work to impress both recruiters and friends.
